He used to work as the physical education teacher at the FETO-controlled International Spectrum Secondary School (Ploieşti). He was charged with and convicted of sexually abusing one of his students (a 9-year-old girl) and sentenced to imprisonment for 3 years and 6 months. He was sent to the Rahova Prison on November 12, 2019 and he was released on the third week of May 2022 after he served the entirety of his sentence.
He is currently tried for ‘Being a Member of an Armed Terrorist Organization’ and he is the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant issued by Turkish courts.
